Super Lover Cee and Casanova Rud
Super Lover Cee & Casanova Rud, born Calente Frederick and Erik Rudniki, are no new comers to the game. Supe and Rud have been long time friends, recording artist, and business partners for more than Twenty years. Most remember the two from their debut PolyGram single release, “Do The James”. Supe & Rud by far were no one hit wonders. This was proven with the second single, “Super Casanova”, of the follow up Elektra Records Album release, “Girls I Got’em Locked”. Super Lover Cee & Casanova Rud toured with many known names in early hip hop such as Salt-N-Peppa, Kid and Play, and ICE T. The duo also performed side by side with artist such as Public Enemy, Big Daddy Kane, and The Wu Tang. The duo made waves with their production and master techniques in the studio by the late but super talented Paul C. Supe and Rud made history and helped launch some of today’s successors in ways such as being on The Source magazine's first issue when it was a one page news letter. After the death of their friend and colleague, Paul C, Super Lover Cee and Casanova Rud went on hiatus for a few years. Taking another shot at the industry Supe & Rud released projects with Sony Music and Wild Pitch (EMI). Super Love Cee and Casanova Rud never stopped producing and recording music and because of their passion for the art began to assist new talent. Fifteen years later Super Lover Cee and Casanova Rud are currently touring again and are still in the business of production and promotioms. Super Lover Cee has a recording studio in Charlotte, NC and Rud is still one of the hottest (real) Hip-Hop producers in the industry.
