Smoove Sean, born Sean Lloyd in Wilmington, Delaware, decided at thirteen years of age to become an MC. Right away he found himself on stage before his class rapping at special events at local schools. Smoove's audiences were quickly swept by his lyrical ability and raspy baritone voice.

He performed at showcases and competitions throughout Philadelphia, Wilmington and Chester. It was in Chester, Pa where he teamed up with Never Broke Records to record his second album. A fourteen song album that was never released. Smoove continued performing and doing radio and local television station interviews.
