Prince Po, began as one half of Organized Konfusion, one of the most respected and acclaimed underground rap duos in hip hop history. Prince Po and Pharoahe Monch, crashed the scene in the 90s with 3 successful LPs before parting ways to embark on solo careers. The 1st LP was self-titled, followed by Stress: The Extinction Agenda, and The Equinox.

In 2002, Prince Po started a new foundation called Nasty Habits Entertainment. This foundation consist of a few artist and producers handpicked by Po for their uniqueness and limitless talents. "I need artist to tell a story and be endless inspiration. Also be the kind to grind extra hard so we can elevate the culture".

In 2004, he released his 1st solo venture "The Slickness" through London based Lex records. The record caused an overseas uproar and was given a 4 out of 5 stars by 3 major publications. Followed by extensive touring with the likes of Dangermouse, Sage Francis, RJD2, Prince Paul and others, Po headed straight back into the lab. In 2005, Po landed a distribution deal with Traffic Ent which initially released a special Best of OK that sold exceptionally well without any promotions.

Next was the sophomore banger "Prettyblack" which landed in stores July 2006 where Po banged out more hot production with the help of fellow beatmasters; Rockwilder, Large Pro, and Madlib.

In 2008, Po teamed up with Bay Area producer Tom c3 to create the eclectic classic LP “Saga of the Simian Samurai” which is still selling units worldwide.

Highlighting 2014 is the release of critically acclaimed collaborative album “Animal Serum” by Prince Po and West Coast producer Oh No.

Prince Po commands the mic with his gruff and commanding voice, and you can’t help but listen to what he has to say. Po’s lyrical combination along with Oh No’s production have me wondering if we’ll ever see these two collaborate again. For now, enjoy this time machine of a record and listen to what Po has to say. Also, Prince Po and Pharoahe Monch reunited for an Organized Konfusion performance, ripping it on stage with the likes of Cold Play, Tool, Jay Z, Q Tip and others at All points West Festival in Jersey in 2014.

Prince Po continues grinding with more new music, new artists, books, cooking shows, motivational seminars and more…
