Monster Mill has been writing since he was young, music became a interest to him when he began to play the guitar in the 4th grade. By the time he was in 8th grade he was playing rhythm guitar in a local string jazz band for the conservatory of music. As life began to change he began to venture into a new route. In Feb. 2004, when he was 12 years old he tried production for the first time in a computer class for school, his instrumental was one of the few to recieve a full 100%. In July 2005 he began recording voals at the age of 14, using the name J-Mill. He had a street/rap crew called the Inferno Clique, he did production for all their official songs. By 2006 he had moved to the next step and became a net emcee for WL Production where he connected with many international rappers; the more commonly known Calibre, OhBoyJ, Kwills, etc. After WL productions shut down and after a name change to Mill, he released Music Is Living Life Mixtape. A popular mixtape in the Louisville-Metro Underground scene, which included the popular "Your Diary (Rain On Me)". He also became familiar with mixing and remixing techniques and put out several mixtapes as DJ-Mill. In 2009 more changes began to occur and situations in Monster Mill's life began to go to the extreme, he changed his name to Monster Mill in March 2009 but went on hiatus for a year and a half.
