DJ Hurricane is backing a new 12-year-old artist by the name of JBYRD, who has millions of views on his YouTube page.

JBYRD "s latest release "Brand New," is the latest in a series of collaborations with the legendary DJ Hurricane, who has worked with artists such as the Beastie Boys, Run-DMC, The Afros and many others.

The track is the lead single from JBYRD "s upcoming album, which boasts appearances from many acts, including Cee Jay, the son of the late Christopher "Notorious B.I.G." Wallace.

“I listened to his demo and was told he was 12-years-old and had no experience.  I saw some amazing talent in him!” says Hurricane, “I knew with my experience we could sharpen his tools.  He’s a quick learner and very confident.  He’s just a young kid with a long future as a star in the entertainment world.”
