Tomorrow (May 4) marks the one-year anniversary of the passing of legendary Beastie Boys " frontman Adam "MCA" Yauch. To honor his memory, Brooklyn "s Palmetto Playground will officially be renamed Adam Yauch Park.MTV reports that the New York City Department of Parks announced the news along with a memorial that occurred earlier today. Guests included Yauch "s fellow Beastie Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz, along with other friends and family members of the late MC. Being a Brooklynite, Yauch was raised in Palmetto Playground, even learning how to ride his bicycle there.
