After a lengthy bid away from the music scene, Chi-Ali, nee " Griffith, is finally back. Older, wiser and even more lyrically gifted than before, Ali is on the cusp of a much desired musical comeback.

Following his September 2012 release, the "youngest member" of the famed Native Tongues " collective has been keeping himself quite busy appearing on a string of popular single entries from the likes of Skyzoo ["Jansport Strings (Remix)"], Mysonne ["Girls Around Me"], Fat Joe ["Games & Things"] and, most recent, Funkmaster Flex ["A Million (Freestyle)"], while at the very same time prepping his long overdue, still untitled sophomore studio collection.

About Chi-Ali: First heard rapping alongside De La Soul during their monumental 3 Feet High and Rising era, followed by his stand-out verse on Black Sheep "s "Pass The 40" posse cut, Chi-Ali would go on to put out his debut solo effort, The Fabulous Chi-Ali, which spawned a trio of hits; "Age Ain "t Nothing But A #," "Roadrunner" and "Funky Lemonade," back on March 24th 1992. Unfortunately, tragedy struck in January 2000, when Ali was accused of shooting and killing another man in The Bronx, in which he was later tried and convicted for the crime of first-degree manslaughter.
