A mixtape that we at RareHipHop.com are looking forward to hearing, is the one that is going to be released Feb. 21 by Fokis; A Vintage State of Mind. This mixtape is going to pay homage to some of the greats by blending new lyrics over classic beats. Fokis is one that can deliver a lyric, so with his vocal strength over classic beats, we are looking forward to hearing the combination.
A Vintage State of Mind, is just a taste of what we are going to hear from Fokis in 2012. This is to wet our appetite before he drops the official album Vintage later in the year, which is suppose to include Hip-Hop veterans Kurtis Blow, DMC, King Sun, Sadat X, Kool G Rap, Lord Jamar, Spoonie Gee, King Tee, MC Eiht and more. It"s first single, “Show’em How to MC” features Grandmaster Caz.
