50 Cent Announces New Sketch Comedy Show “50 Cent Presents”

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is further expanding his television empire. After the success of Poweron Starz, 50 announced in December he is set to help present My Friend 50 on Fox. Now the Queens native is taking part in yet another TV series.

“I have a show on Fox My Friend 50 and a program that I’m working on right now with A&E, 50 Cent Presents,” 50 toldPeople. “I hate to call it a variety show because it’s different than the things that people have seen in the past, but it’s a weekly program that has live sketch comedy and live music. It’s a lot.”

50 did not provide more details about the series, but 50 Cent Presents appears to be following in the tradition of other sketch comedy programs such as Saturday Night LiveIn Living Color, and Chappelle’s Show. He later added onInstagram, “I’m only getting better at what I do. Wait till you see my new show on A&E.”

The G-Unit leader’s business ventures encompass music, online media, television production, liquor, and clothing. 50 Cent also acts on Power, and he appeared in the 2015 boxing film Southpaw.
