N.W.A is joining Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five, Run-D.M.C., Beastie Boys, and Public Enemy as the only Hip Hop acts to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. 

Along with N.W.A, the ’16 inductees includes Steve Miller, Chicago, Cheap Trick, and Deep Purple.

The huge success of the N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton may have played a role in the group finally making it into the Hall. N.W.A was also nominated in 2013.

NWA along with the rest of the class of 2016 will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame during a ceremony held in New York on April 8, 2016.
