Swizz Beatz is looking to expand his influence into the art world, and with this new position, he’s definitely on the right path to achieving just that.

The South Bronx native was appointed to The Brooklyn Museum’s esteemed board of trustees, which was announced earlier this week, the Wall Street Journal reports. With just one look at Swizzy’s Instagram account, you can see he’s well-versed in the art world, so this new role suits him like a tailored outfit.

The beatsmith is also an avid collector of prized collections, from KAWS to Kehinde Wiley to Maya Hayuk.

During his tenure on the board of trustees, Swizz plans to expand the museum’s reach to a global audience, and take “art to the next level.”
