Students at NYU received an e-mail from school administrators this morning stating a special guest will be speaking on campus today (April 1).

The e-mail's subject read: 'Jay Z at NYU TODAY!'

The Hip Hop mogul is expected to speak to students about the music industry and his new music streaming service TIDAL. He'll be joined by TIDAL executive Vania Schlogel during the discussion.

Students will get the opportunity to ask questions about the new streaming service that waslaunched on Monday (March 30) by Jay Z, Kanye West, Madonna, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, J. Cole, and more.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday (April 1) at 4pm and is exclusively for NYU students and staff.
