There’s probably no one more suited at ushering in the International Day of Happiness than Pharrell. He’s the officially spokesperson of all things “Happy.”
The Unites Nations tapped Pharrell to share his wisdom with a room of young minds at New York City’s Empire State Building. He encouraged his tiny listeners (and their parents) to learn “the importance of happiness,” and follow their dreams.
Pretty heavy stuff for such young ears, but it’s never too early to pick up life lessons like this one: “You should know that happiness is your birth right.”
Pharrell also lit the Empire State Building yellow (the color of happiness).
