Hip-Hop Speaks on Ferguson Verdict

C'mon hip-hop. We've been around for over 40 years, we've seen this story before. Ferguson is only one case where we were attacked. Yes, even a blind man knows that an unarmed man of any color should not be killed. Now what! Is it time for us to protest in a civil means to make a change? Do we use the power of the vote to get officials out, who really don't care? Do we continue to menace our own streets and take out innocent victims ourselves? The latter is not the answer, we need to continue to teach our youth that there is a better way because we are viewed as immoral, uneducated, blah blah blah..... Let's show the other side because no one is going to come in and clean up the mess after the riots. Major cities have taken decades to rebuild after riots. From New York to Seattle and across the globe, we feel the pain of the Mike Brown decision.
