The Apollo Theater just became that much more dope.

Pharrell has become an official board member of the Harlem theater. The Grammy-award winning producer and songwriter was added to the board of directors and is one of 6 new members added to the 32 member board, which includes Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, Jason L. Matthews; New England Patriots Owner, Robert Kraft and Charles Phillips, the chief executive of Infor, a leading company.

“I couldn't be more pleased to welcome these six individuals to the Apollo Board” said Richard Parsons, Chairman of the Apollo Theater’s Board of Directors.
