The Howard Theater was the place to be Thursday night (July 17), when attendees celebrated the 2014 DC Loves Dilla Tribute Concert.

The stellar event also had a special announcement when they revealed that the Smithsonian "s new museum of African American History & Culture will have the legendary beatsmith "s production equipment within its venue.
