Mark Your Calendars #24HrsOfPeace

Hip-hop is about our culture.  Taking a stand and making sure we have a tomorrow, hip-hop activist are going beyond the call of rap to make sure urban environments, such as Newark know we care about our environment and making sure they take a stand for our future.  #24HrsOfPeace 4th Annual concert is Aug. 29th, so if you are in the Newark, NJ area you need to mark your calendar.  
 
This event is an outdoor cultural event aimed at addressing violence through the performing arts. Music, Poetry, Dance, Film and Spoken Word will be the vehicle to promote the message of peace and unity in the community.  Past performers at this event have been Do-It-All from The Lords of the Underground, Treach from Naughty by Nature, Brand Nubian, & Large Professor.  With the great number of artists that are from the NY/NJ area, you can bet Hakim Green and Rhymageddon will have some powerful guests you do not want to miss.  
 
Be a part of the positive change we need, we can all make this happen. Aug 29th 6 pm on Clinton and Tracy Avenues in Newark NJ.
