The 43-year-old entertainer walked away with the award for Favorite New Talk Show Host at the 2014 People’s Choice Awards. She beat out Arsenio Hall, Bethenny Frankel, Jenny McCarthy and Ross Mathews for the honor.

"I DO THIS FOR THE PEOPLE!!! Thank you SONY, CBS, My PARTNERS and the PEOPLE!!!" Queen Latifah tweeted to her fans after picking up the award for favorite new talk show host at the 2014 People "s Choice Awards at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.

"This means so much to me because it comes from you," said Queen Latifah as she accepted the award onstage. She also thanked her crew and staff for all their hard work. And she especially thanked the people again, "We do this for you [the fans] every day so you have a good time."
